March 18: Austin -- the last full Day

 Visiting with Uncle Joe;  WONDERSPACES!  

Lunch with my brother in San Maros.  We both look so old, and when I see this picture it amazes me that we lived this long despite our childhoods and the abuse we have inflicted on these bodies over the years.  Celebrate THAT! 

And then:  WONDERSPACES!  -- an amazing interactive art installation in Austin.  Totally worth the visit, even if we hadn't taken William with us.  However, he really enriched the experience.   Wish the wonder we see in a child, as well as that feeling, can stay with us forever.

This exhibit, called Killing Time was my favorite exhibit:  In this hour glass time runs from bottom to top and the skull certainly appears real.   Totally amazing in concept and execution.
