Heading Home & What's next?

Baby Beluga, with us inside,  has been on the road for just over 3 months, and we have loved almost every minute of it.  We've done the things we set out to do, so  now we are taking a road break in Durango for the next couple of weeks.  Then a trip to Yellowstone before we set off again for GrampCamp and Michael's Promotion Ceremony.

Here are the dates-- All of them are tentative:

  • May 24th (or 25th). Durango and home for a while.
  • June 7 or 8 -- Head to Yellowstone (probably in Prius because our Yellowstone Program has lodging)
  • June 14 -- Leave Yellowstone and return to Durango -- have a bunch of doctor, dentist appts.
  • June 27 or 28th -- Leave to pick up William for GrampCamp -- just found out we have to cut that short because he's scheduled for a cub scout camp.   Return to Austin on July 9th.
  • July 11th  to July 26th -- have camping scheduled in InkLake State Park in the hill country of Texas to await  Michael's ceremony in August.   Last time we stayed 2 weeks in the same place we didn't like it much, so these plans are tentative for now.
  • July 26th to August 5th -- ???, but pending arrival of other family members, the last part of this at least will be spend at the Parkfield site
  • August 5th -- Michael's ceremony
  • August 6th -- Head back to Durango for August and September
  • October  and possibly November-- Virginia for John Miller (that may change as he needs knee surgery) and Marine Corps Marathon --

Christmas Trips

Dec 12th (or so) -- leave for Christmas Cruise Dec. 16th  to Dec 21

We will plan to spend Christmas in Mississippi or New Orleans, and then on to Volksmarches in Baton Rouge, Montgomery, AL, Tallahassee, and perhaps on to Key West.

All Plans here are tentative subject to better offers -- or changes in status of John Miller or UJ.  Or anyone else.
